He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Bud" Adkins and Nora Adkins; and his brother Jerry Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Adkins; his children, Jeanine Malone (Greg) of Pampa and Jeffery "Jake" Adkins (Kelly) of Kettering, Ohio; his grandchildren, Tyler Malone (Ramie) of Pampa, Avery Malone of Pampa, Chloe Adkins of Kettering, Ohio and Jacob "Jake" Adkins of Kettering, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Hollie and Jack; and his siblings, Linda Lamb of Okeene, Cindy Pagel (Mike) of Moore, Oklahoma and Mickey Adkins (Jeanene) of Moore, Oklahoma.
Viewing was held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory (600 N Ward St, Pampa, TX 79065). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel (600 N Ward St, Pampa, TX 79065).
