He is survived by: his father Richard Hicks; his children, Gina Hicks Pettigrew (Louis) and Bobby Hicks (Pam); his grandchildren, Matt Hicks (Ena), Paige Kirbo (Brent) and Haley Pettigrew (Donald Spiering); his great grandchildren, Lucas Hicks (Mariah), Paxton, Caiden, Raylan, Hadalin Spiering, Bryan Kirbo, Liana Matta (Chris) and Leonard Cabe; and his great great grandchildren, Stetson Hicks, Alana and Asa Matta.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (301 W Ferguson St, Tyler, TX 75702). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
