He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Hogan and Lillie Mae Hogan; his in-laws, Leo and Carneal Langdon; his brother Edward Hogan; and his sisters-in-law, Myrna Hogan and Patti Hogan.
He is survived by: his significant other Nita Kay Langdon; his brother Jerry Hogan of Bryan, TX; his daughters, Angela Joyce (Glenn) of Hilltop Lakes, TX, Tani Joiner (Kelly) of Mayflower, AR, Kerri Jacobs (Tim) of Brownwood, TX and Amy Attaway of Longview, TX; and his grandchildren, Krystal Joyce Lineburger, Hallie Joiner House, Christopher Joyce, Hannah Joiner George, Weston Jacobs, Chance Phillips, Katy Jacobs Taylor, Hope Joiner Biggs, Kyndal Phillips, Wyatt Jacobs and Kamille Jacobs. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Austin Avenue Church of Christ (1020 Austin Ave, Brownwood, TX 76801).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Missions Ministry of the Austin Avenue Church of Christ, 1020 Austin Avenue, Brownwood, TX 76801, Brownwood Nursing and Rehab, or to Alpha Omega Hospice.
