She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa Velek and Charles Velek; her husband Frankie Surovec; and her grandson Daniel Wissmann. She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Wissmann (David); and her grandchildren, Lori Ellis, Holly Wissmann (Fabian Martinez) and Tyler Ellis (Katy).

A burial will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery - Shelter 1 (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
