He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hoefling and Otha Hoefling; his brothers, Phillip and Norman Hoefling; his brother-in-law Leo Semper; and his nephew Paul Semper.
He is survived by: his wife Laurel Sydney Calk; his children, Brent Hoefling (Kim), Shawna Lamprecht (Kevin) and Heath Hoefling (Stacey); his grandchildren, Jordan Willemin (Tyler), Kyle Hranicky, Shyanne Debord (Raeley), Kynli Goebel (Parker), Gracey Hoefling, Gavin Hoefling, Kaydynce Lamprecht and Skyland Lamprecht; his great grandchildren, Daegyn Debord, Kelbi Goebel, Brakkyn Debord and Reece Debord; and his siblings, Roy Hoefling (Marian), Linda Tampke (Ray), Carolyn Semper, JoAnn Wendel and Mary Hoefling.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Massey Funeral Home (779 N Riedel St, Yorktown, TX 78164). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Calhoun County Fair Association or Calhoun County Go-Texan.
