With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Burnett of Texarkana, Texas, who passed away on August 13, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Jackson and Felix Jackson; her husband Loyd David Burnett; and her siblings, Evelyn Oden, Margene Katz, James Jackson and Harold Jackson.
She is survived by: her daughter Bennie Phillips (Joe Doss); her grandsons, Colin Raney (Eun Jin) of Lexington, MA and Richard Raney (Amanda) of Texarkana, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Reagan Raney, Jackson Raney, Ella Raney of Texarkana, Aidan Raney and Noah Raney of Lexington, MA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hardy Memorial Global Methodist Church (6203 N Kings Hwy, Texarkana, TX 75503).
