He was predeceased by: his parents, Lora Dee Minatrea Sloan and Alton L. Sloan; and his brother Jerry L. Sloan. He is survived by: his wife Shirley White Sloan of Tyler; his son Kenneth Sloan of Tyler; his grandchildren, Madison, Kendall and Michael Sloan; and his goddaughter Carla Shipp of Longview. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bartley Funeral Home (1015 W Wolfe St, Grand Saline, TX 75140). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery (14500 FM 17, Grand Saline, TX 75140).
