He is survived by: his wife Sheri Tenant Strnadel of El Campo; his mother Rose Marie Kaspar Strnadel of Hillje; his children, Kaycie Heck (Craig) of The Woodlands and Cory King (Shannon) of Montgomery; his grandchildren, Camden, Kyler and Tessa King; his brothers, Rodney Strnadel of Bastrop, Jeff Strnadel of El Campo and Greg Strnadel (Leann) of Tyler; his parents-in-law, Albert and Diana Tenant of El Campo; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Tucker of Bay City and Shanna Dodd (Matthew) of Blessing; and his siblings' children, Megan Strnadel, Cason Strnadel, Jeyten Strnadel, Lentz Tucker, Lanae Tucker, Colby Wilson, Morgan Fiala (Jeff), Malorie Hansen (Call Devant) and Mason Dodd.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Triska Funeral Home (612 Merchant St, El Campo, TX 77437). A rosary was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Philip Catholic Church (304 W Church St, El Campo, TX 77437). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in memory of Slim may be made to St. Philip Catholic Church or St. Philip School.
