She is survived by: her parents, Kaila Denise King and Elijah Braden Kates; her brother Julian Jamile Kates; her grandparents, Amanda Nell Caton, Jenifer Kay Revis, Billy Dewayne Revis, Mary Caton-Pickett, Susan Kelly Edwards and Harry Wesley Kates; her great-grandparents, Michael Lee Caton, Mary Ann King and Vivian Jordan; and her godfather Claudraus "Boo" Dickens. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and a countless number of cousins.
