With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann King (Athens, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Daniel Watkins and Ola Frances Ivey Watkins; her daughter Sharon Easterling; her children-in-law, Barbara King and Mike Bunch; her great grandchild Memphis Bunch; and her siblings, Billy Watkins, Dean Watkins, Clydus Watkins, Donald Watkins, Mary Davies and Betty Pool.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hutchings (Jimmy), Sandy Vaughan, Linda Bunch and Tony King. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751).
