With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmy D. Hutchins of Tyler, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Andrew Hutchins and Lucille Marie Hutchins; his brother R. A. "Bobby" Hutchins; and his daughter Tara Hutchins Jones. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hutchins; his children, Tammy Riley (Chris) and Brian Hutchins (Colinda); his son-in-law Chris Jones; his grandchildren, Connor Riley (Megan), Abigail Riley, Bailey Dominguez (Michael), Hadley Jones, Sydney Jones, Thomas Hutchins, Corrin Hutchins, Zachary High and Cole Villyard; his sister-in-law Linda Lane (Curtis); and also Jimmy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stewart Family Funeral Home (7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (301 W Ferguson St, Tyler, TX 75702).
