He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Fuhrken and Evelyn Fuhrken (Wostal); and his brother John Fuhrken. He is survived by: his children, Travis Fuhrken (Becky Fuhrken), Monica O'Brien (Jim O'Brien), Brandy Reeves and Daniel Davis (Kimberly Davis); his grandchildren, Kurstin Rodriquez, Erin Watson, Tyler Fuhrken, Cameron Fuhrken, Brennan Fuhrken, Brady O'Brien, Kendal O'Brien, Anthony Reeves, Jazlynn Vigil, Nicholas Davis and Ella Davis; his great grandchildren, Aria Rodriquez and Griffin Watson; and his siblings, Wanda Speis, Dolly Grimes, Pam Herschap and Glen Fuhrken.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holmgreen Mortuary (2061 E Main St, Alice, TX 78332). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at the Hermann Cemetery.
