It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reva Hudgins of Grand Saline, Texas, who passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Tipps and Myrtle King Tipps; her husband Robert Vernon Hudgins (R. V.); and her siblings, Clifton Tipps, Ferron Tipps, Alwyn Tipps, Adrian Tipps, Harold Tipps, Deloyce Moore and Alva Tipps.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherion Jackson (Andy) of Longview, Linda Monk (Mike) of Grand Saline and Robbie Monk (Ronnie) of Grand Saline; her sister Annett Chowing of Garland; her sister-in-law Nadine Phillips (Bobby); her grandchildren, Jonathan Jackson, Stacey Hastings (Tracy), Michelle Lewis (Monty), Dean Monk (Beri), Heather Grace (Jeremy) and Lindsey Phillips (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Alexia, Marti, Macoy, Mazie, Macray, Maylee, Levi, Jessi, Bo, Dylan, Kolbi and Jaleigh. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bartley Funeral Home (1015 W Wolfe St, Grand Saline, TX 75140). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at the Woodside Cemetery.
