He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Henry John Fredrick and Frances Martha Meta Luker; his wife Ruth Loraine Luker; and his siblings, Helen Dehn, Edgar Luker, Lucille Olson, Henry Luker, Evelyn Lippert and Irene Calvin.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Luker of Plano, Texas, Carol Walsh (James) of Flat Rock, Donald Luker of Gurnee, Illinois and Kenneth Luker of Los Angeles, California; his grandson Tyler Luker of Plano, Texas; his children, Timarie Luker of San Marcos, Texas and Zachary Luker of Gurnee, Illinois; and his sister Roberta Stelzer of Ellisville. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (111 W Olive St, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran School, 111 W. Olive Street, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
