It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Johnson of Texarkana, Texas, born in Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Dena Cope; and her siblings, Edna Rose Stephens, Juanita Ross and Charles Stephens. She is survived by: her daughter Paula; her son-in-law Freddie Jester of Texarkana; her son Phillip; her children-in-law, Allison Johnson of Nashville and Billy Cope of Genoa; her siblings, George Stephens and Janet Sacarello; her grandchildren, McCall Palmer, Jordan Qualls, Jacob Qualls, Beau Johnson and Cannon Johnson; and the father of her children Maxie Johnson of Genoa, AR.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Texarkana Funeral Home (3515 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, TX 75503). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
