She was predeceased by: her parents, James Comer and Vada Comer; her husband F. L. Upchurch; her children, Shirley McCreary and Kenneth Upchurch; and her siblings, Hollis Comer, Dorothy Comer and Richard Comer.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne, Bobbie Upchurch of Peoria, Texas, Leonard, Josie Upchurch of Denver City, Texas, Cynthia and Keith Anderson of Hillsboro, Texas.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Itasca Cemetery.
