She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Ford and Pearl Seaton Ridley; her husband Gene Matthews; her sister Elizabeth Fowler; and her grandson Justin Temple.
She is survived by: her siblings, Diane Janes and Ricky Ridley; her children, Cecil Temple (Janie), Rusty Temple (Joann), Martin Matthews (Jessica), Belinda Wheeler (Charles) and Jennifer Ruiz; and her grandchildren, Chez Temple, Tyler Temple, Phillip Ruiz, Kyle Ruiz, Erika Rios, Blake Smith and Chase Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sandburg Room, Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
