She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Barfield and Susan Barfield; her brother John; and her husband Horace Murdock. She is survived by: her sons, Horace Jr. and Rex Murdock (Robin); her grandsons, Mark Murdock, Brandon Murdock (Tiffany), Kasey Copeland (Tiffany) and Chint Murdock; her great grandchildren, Sydney, Andie and Tate; her siblings, Margie Youngblood (Johnny), Carol Smith, Donna Watson (Charles) and Ronnie Barfield (Debbie); and her sister-in-law Ann Barfield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Tapp Methodist Church (715 S McCoy Blvd, New Boston, TX 75570).
