It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Mac Von Huey in Decatur, Texas, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Fred Clark Huey, Jr.; his son Michael Huey; his aunt Gladys; and his uncle Barton Mayfield. He is survived by: his wife Karin Huey of Decatur; his daughter Nancy Starks (Steve) of Haslet; his grandchildren, Michael Davis, Kayla Davis and Tyler Starks; his mother Dorothy Huey; and his siblings, Leland, Fred Huey and Amy Taylor.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (205 E Boling St, Alvord, TX 76225). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
The service will begin at 12:00 PM with a gathering to honor Bobby's life, memories, and contributions to those who loved and knew him.
