With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Bryan Kennedy of Diana, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kennedy and Lessie Kennedy (Carruth); his sister Margaret Kennedy Stotts; his uncle Buck; his aunt Imogene King; and his cousin Jim King.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Kennedy of Mt. Pleasant; his daughters, Shannon Martin of Longview and K. C.; his son-in-law Jeff Fortenberry of Cookville; his daughter Kristy; his son-in-law Terry Runk of Daingerfield; his grandchildren, Taylor Jade Wilson, Alec Wilson, Graci Runk, Maggi Runk, Lakyn Fortenberry and Emma Fortenberry; his great grandchildren, Kennedy Jade and Kartra Lily; his brother-in-law Gary (Tonya Murry); his sibling's children, Krystal, Bryan, Chance, Tyler and Shane; and his cousin Shelia Ashlock.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (2201 TX-49, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
