He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Gentry; his grandchildren, Katlyn Smith-Gentry and Grayson Gentry; his son Steven Stewart; his grandchildren, Alexis Eggleston and Caleb Stewart; his daughter Kathryn Estes; his grandchildren, Katie Rutledge and Casey Estes; his daughter Lisa Flake; his grandchildren, Greg Marshall, Leslie Tyner and Steven Marshall; and his siblings, Andra Casillas, Joe Smith, Charles Smith and Judy Tidwell.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
