He was predeceased by: his father Hiller Ligon Hess III; and his stepbrother Billy Love Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Eulinda Hess (Anderson) of Diana; his stepfather Bill Love of Longview; his son Kevin Don Smith Jr. (Kayla) of White Oak; his sister Hollie Hess; his brother-in-law Patrick Hogan of Longview; his stepsister Dee Milam (Danny); his mother-in-law Barbara McElhaney; his siblings-in-law, Damon Anderson and Dee Robertson (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Elizzabeth, Aubrey, Ember and Aria.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Masonic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking that donations be made in honor of Hiller "Bo" Hess to Life Tabernacle Church in Gilmer, TX for the Christmas event they hold each year where they donate bicycles to area kids in need.
