He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edwin and Kathryn Gladman Smith; and his sisters, Nancy Reames and Mattie Ruth Hillier. He is survived by: his wife Trevanion Mixon Smith; his children, Stephen Smith (Kimberly) and Suzanne Jones; his grandchildren, Kayleigh (Dillan Henegar), Tyler (Haley Smith), Jonathan Jones and Wesley Jones; his great grandchild Kinsleigh Henegar; his brother-in-law Ronald Hillier; and his sibling's children, Rhonda (Fred Carriker) and Craig (LeAnn Hillier).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salado Cemetery.
