He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Pickens, Sr. and Marie Beavert Pickens; and his siblings, Roy, Joe, Arlene and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Vickers; and his grandsons, Kevin Kilgore of Texarkana and Matthew Kilgore of Texarkana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waco Memorial Park (6623 I-35 N, Selma, TX 78154).
