It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Wayne Long of Texarkana, Texas, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Long and Ludie Mae Long; his wife Barbara Long; and his brothers, David Long, James Raymond Long, Billy Long, Frank Long and Fred Long.
He is survived by: his children, Marty (Martha Long), Kevin (Mitsi Long) and Donna; his son-in-law Charles Adams of Texarkana; his grandchildren, Clint Long, Spencer Long, Nicholas Long and Brooke (Jake Benefiel); and his sisters, Mary Alice Bradshaw and Kay Lewis. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bates Rolf Funeral Home (502 S McCoy Blvd, New Boston, TX 75570). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bates Rolf Funeral Home Chapel, New Boston.
