With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Ray McKinney of Chandler, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry "Bud" McKinney and Eunice Bernice McKinney (Martin); his wife Glenda Joyce McKinney (Thompson); his daughters, Mickey Leopard and J. J. Mosley; and his siblings, Juanita Teague, Willie "Top" McKinney, Robert Henry McKinney and Reba Nell Hopson.
He is survived by: his children, Alton "Bubba" McKinney (Shonda) of Rusk, Robert McKinney (Tammy) of Brownsboro, Laura McCoy of Chandler and Darryl McKinney (Pandy) of Brownsboro; and his grandchildren, Brandi Maxwell (Matt), Chad McKinney (Katie), Marie Moore, Mechelle Brocato (Jonathan), Courtney Richards (Bryan), Josh McKinney (Amanda), Casey McCoy (Morgan), Shelby McCoy, Austin Rhodes (Sarah), Shelton Land, Tristan Shay, Michael McKinney, Mitchell McKinney, Michael Mosley, Kristin Mosley and Makayla Mosley. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home (205 Broad St, Chandler, TX 75758). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chandler Memorial Cemetery (620 Old Tyler Rd, Chandler, TX 75758).
