He was predeceased by: his mother Jovita Alaniz; and his brothers, Jesse Alaniz, Robert Alaniz and Salvador Alaniz. He is survived by: his children, Zoe Collins (KC Sr.), Angel Alaniz (Sandy) and Kayla Alaniz (Daniel); his grandchildren, Zuriah Valverde, KC Collins Jr., Alexxavier Alaniz, Andrew Alaniz, Adrianna Alaniz, Arabella Alaniz, Adelynn Alaniz, Serenity Alaniz and Daniel Hinojosa Jr.; and his siblings, Laura Alaniz, Adrian Alaniz and Sylvia Torres. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes & Crematory - Aransas Pass (2003 W Wheeler Ave, Aransas Pass, TX 78336). A rosary will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (107 Church, Gregory, TX 78359). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Gregory Cemetery.
