She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gifford Thomas and Mollie Irene Thomas (Cummings); her sons, Joseph Miller and Timothy Tyler; her siblings, Elvis "Ben" Thomas, Johnny Thomas and Brenda Halbert; her son-in-law Hal Herring; her granddaughter Tabitha Herriage; her great grandchildren, Travis Buford, Dalton Greathouse, Christian Neel and Samantha Mandrell; and her great great grandchildren, Kamden Cheek and Owen Michael Goebel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Ramsey (Raymond) of Waskom, Vickie Herring of Waskom, Kimberly Cole (David) of Waskom and Tracie Underwood (Chann) of Haughton, Louisiana.; and her grandchildren, Shawnda Shearer, Shane Ramsey, Keelan Ramsey, Tamera Lopez, Devin Cole, Lisa Dodd, Amber Dodd, Olivia Bennett, Betty Coombs, James Greathouse, Curtis Cheek, Chris Cheek, Michael Chandler, Chris Catron, Amanda Miller, Brynt Miller and Chloe Miller.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carroll Springs Community Church (5810 County Rd #4600, Athens, TX 75752). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at the Carroll Springs Cemetery (5810 County Rd #4600, Athens, TX 75752).
