He is survived by: his father Roy Dwain Shankel of Tyler; his sister Carrie Glay of Frederick, Maryland; his brother-in-law Arthur Glay of Frederick, Maryland; his sibling's children, Olivia Shankel of Tyler, Isabel Glay and Elijah Dwain Glay of Frederick, Maryland; his aunts and uncles, Buzz, Brenda Orrison of New Market, Bruce and Cathy Shankel of Sykesville, Maryland; and his cousins, Keith Orrison of Smithsburg, Brian Orrison of New Market, Shaun and Alan Shankel of Sykesville, Maryland..
A committal service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
