He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Leon Gunn and Virginia Rape Gunn; his grandparents, Jimmie Lee Rape, Vinnie Mae Rape, Vernon Arthur Gunn and Cleo Bell Collins Gunn; his birth mother Sonja Burgan Kunkle; and his mother-in-law Judy Gail Marshall French.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly Gail French Gunn; his children, Vernon Tod Gunn, Amanda Gail Gunn of Pittsburg and Mildon Funez of Tegucigalpa; his siblings, Janet Pennington (Joe) of Plano, Richard Conkle and Melissa Kunkle of Dallas, Texas; his aunt Ingrid Burgan of Dallas, Texas; his in-law Johnny French (Rhonda) of Pittsburg; his brother-in-law Rex French (Gena) of Jefferson, Texas; his siblings' children, Katlyn, Garrett French of Jefferson and Toby Wayne Shelton of Plano; his great-nephew Dylan Shelton of Plano; his friends, Steve and Carol Wootten; Rebecca Jean Spencer.
