He is survived by: his wife Teresa Stone Watson of Joaquin; his son Festus A. Watson IV (Katie) of White Hall, Arkansas; his stepdaughters, Heidi (Randall Pritchett) of Joaquin, Piper (Chance Moton) of Huxley and Ciara O'Rear of Joaquin; his grandchildren, McKinzy Lytle, Sky Lytle, Katelynn Riley, Samuel Watson, Tyler Watson, Chandler Pritchett, Aspen Pritchett, Palin Moton, Ryan Moton and Ali Moton; his great grandchildren, Brayden Dunn, Oaklynn Dunn, Emma Robinson, Addison James and Jolee James; his sister Gail Watson Johnston (Tony Ray Bethard) of Tyler; and his nephew Stephen K. Gregg (Helen) of Austin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watson & Sons Funeral Home (1554 TX-7, Center, TX 75935). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oaklawn Memorial Park (1554 TX-7, Center, TX 75935).
