Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Edmond Stech and Juanita Mary Burke Stech; his children, Karryn Ballard and Alan E. Stech; and his siblings, Mary E. Brown, Elouise Paleramo, Alvin E. Stech, Jr., Vernon Stech, Richard Stech and Raymond Stech.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Stech; his children, Stacey Meador (Michael) of Nacogdoches, Donna S. Meyer of Longview and Robert L. Stech, Jr. of Spring; his stepchildren, Curtis C. Donaldson of China Springs, Billy Mark Donaldson (Debbie) of Waco and Donnell Scott Donaldson of Waco; and his close friends, Pamela Combs, Tammy Collins, Belinda Adams and Eva Walker. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren with one on-the-way, several great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crockett Road Church of Christ (1717 Crockett Rd, Palestine, TX 75801). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
