She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd; her parents, Charles Henry Friend and Willie Mae Lumpkin Friend; and her siblings, Jannie Bell Friend, Floyd Harper Friend, Patsy Hoilene Friend, Mary Alice Friend, Ruth Ann Friend and Ernest Wayne Friend.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Craig Morris, Brent David Morris (Charlotte) and Michelle Rene Morris (Schmidt); her sister Donna Paulette Friend Quick; her grandchildren, Brittany Eaton (Tyler Davis), Jace Allen Morris, Sean David Morris, Ian Conor Morris and Erich Hans Thomas Schmidt; and her great grandchild Pierce Gardner Davis. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home (705 N Locust St, Denton, TX 76201). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (3801 Roselawn Dr, Denton, TX 76207).
