She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Meek and Mattie Belle Meek; her husband Bill; her son Milton; and her granddaughter Brenda Summers.
She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn; her son-in-law Greg; her granddaughters, Holly Robinson (Pat) and Jennifer Smith (Mike); her great grandchildren, Drew Smith, Tyler Kendrick, David Simpson (Cheyenne), Grant Summers (Tiffeny), Bonnie Sessums (Eddie) and Mollie Meek; and her great great grandchildren, Jordyn, Carie, Carter and Ethan. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, a beloved sister to her siblings and their spouses.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home (705 N Locust St, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Eaglepointe Church (1310 Lindsey St, Denton, TX 76205). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243).
