She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Banks (Biological Father) and Effie Tyler (Mother); her husband Rhode Tyrone Sr.; and her siblings, Virginia Banks, Joe Hill Jr., Effie Hill, Maggie Hill, Johnny Bass Jr., George Bass, Johnny Bass Sr., O'Daniel Bass of Alexander Carl, Charles Bass, Mildred Mathews, Samuel Bass of Alexander Carl, Gloria Jean Shelton and Baby Boy Bass (Died).
She is survived by: her children, Rhode Tyrone Jr. of Kenedy, Linda Tyrone-Williams of Kenedy and Lawrence Tyrone (Gabi) of Skidmore; and her siblings, Gregory Bass (Ann) of Houston, Mary Bass of Houston, TX, Lee Bass (Linda) of Rosharon, TX, Frank Bass (Emmie) of South Carolina and Viola Bass-Calvin of Houston, TX.. She is also survived by relatives: 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren 5 Great-Great Grandchildren and uncountable Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel (420 W Live Oak St, Kenedy, TX 78119). A procession will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
