He is survived by: his son Jesse Cantu (Erika Cantu); his grandchildren, Liliana Marie, Aaron, Xavier, Ariana Janay Lee, Jaxon David, Jesika Zoe, Isa Evy Rai and Ezekiel Jesse James; his daughter Charlyn Cavazos (Homer Cavazos); his grandchildren, Ethan and Ava; his daughter Christine Lopez (Marshall Lopez); his grandchildren, Adrial Lopez, Mia Lopez, Everett Lopez and Dayton Villagran; and his sisters, Maria De Jesus Cantu (Nicolas Cantu), Antonia Cantu-Castaneda, Rosemary Guerra and Magdalena Cantu (Joseph CantuWe).
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (1015 E Van Buren Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550).
