He was predeceased by: his daughter Debra Dupree; and his siblings, Helen, Linnie, Alphonso Jr., Finis, Joyce, Don, George, Jerry and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Williams and Leo Henry Jr.; his grandchildren, Cedric Dupree and Jalan Henderson; and his sisters, Carolyn Brown-Baker, Glenda Winston, Sandra Taylor (Lawrence) and Wilma Fa Brookings. He is also survived by nieces, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John R. Harmon Undertaking Company (1112 N Palace Ave, Tyler, TX 75702). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Miles Chapel Cme Church. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
