He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Mudford and Avon Mudford; his wife Maudie Mudford; and his former wife Patricia Carmichael Mudford. He is survived by: his children, Kathy, Joe Ambriz of Cleburne, Brenda, Shane Kirk of Godley, Sandra and Mike Walker of Cedar Hill; his sister Donna (Carol Frizzell); his grandchildren, Kristen Ambriz of Cleburne, Joe Christopher Ambriz of Marana, AZ, Brittany, Brianna, Tyler Tidwell of Burleson, Matthew, Emily Ambriz of Cypress, Lacie and Arron Walker of Cedar Hill; his great grandchildren, Bethany, Emma and Ava Alvarado; and his grandchildren, Kadance Espinoza, Chloe, Hannah, Riley Tidwell, Cooper, Skyler Berry, Evelyn, Ella Ambriz, Joe Christopher, Eddie, Dakota and Aaron.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ellis Funeral Home (104 E Ave F, Muleshoe, TX 79347). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Muleshoe Memorial Park.
