We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2025, at the age of 76, Roy Nilsen in Mansfield, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Roy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Nilsen and Ingrid Nilsen; and his sister Wenche Haverkamp. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nilsen; his daughters, Lisa Baker (Chris) and Christy Reeves (Tyler); and his granddaughters, Maddison, Charlotte, Sydney, Alyssa and Blakely. He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mansfield Bible Church (2351 Country Club Dr, Mansfield, TX 76063).
