He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Holman King and Loujena Sheppard King; and his sister Marilyn King Aldridge. He is survived by: his wife Jane Evans King of Brownwood; his daughters, Susan King Wolcott (Charles), Sara Jane King and Ellen King Ramsey (Scott); his grandson William Eldon Wolcott (Liz); his daughters, Betsy Wolcott Sorenson (Tyler), Margaret Wolcott Reinbold (Mike), Rachel Ramsey Hallman (Daren) and Tucker Scott Ramsey (Mikayla); his great grandchildren, Hale and Isla Wolcott; his grandchildren, Clara, Evans, Charles Sorenson, Matthew, Henry and Jane Reinbold; and his sister Carolyn King Cloud.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenleaf Cemetery (2615 US-377, Brownwood, TX 76801). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Highland Park United Methodist Church (3300 Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75205). A reception will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
