She is survived by: her husband Alejandrino Vargas; her children, Marilu Vargas (Manuel Quintanilla), Maria, Carmen Vargas (Rey David Benitez) and Ofelia Vargas (Oscar Torres); her siblings, Vicente Fajardo, Agustin Fajardo, Luis Fajardo, Paula Maldonado, Ester Castillo, Maria Santos Fajardo and Maria Luna; her grandchildren, Selena Quintanilla, Jesus Gonzales, Luis Fernando Gonzales, Luis Quintanilla, Miguel Angel Gonzales, Julio Cesar Quintanilla, Ashley Torres, Jennifer Nicole Gonzales and Oscar Uriel Torres; and her great grandchild Asael Gonzales.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (410 N Alamo Blvd, Marshall, TX 75670).
