He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Young and Mary Magdelene Young (Brandle). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Young; his daughters, Dana Anderson of Gonzales, LA and Kimberly Cooper (Troy) of Hideaway, TX.; his grandchildren, Cody Mathis (Miranda), Hanna Richard (Jacob), Kaley Nolen (Trevor), Collin Cooper (Elizabeth) and Molly Anderson; his stepchildren, Deanna Arnold-Aaen (Jorgen) of Monroe, LA and David Arnold (Laura) of Columbia, LA; his grandchildren, Baylee Fedoruk (Trevor), Bryce Hanson and Josh Arnold (Keely); and his great grandchildren, Ryder, Aubrey Nolen, Killian Mathis, Jona, Everleigh, Hudson Richard and Wyatt Arnold. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hospice of East Texas or Hideaway Community Church.
