It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Tapp of Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobbie Tapp and Billy Joe Tapp Sr.; his grandparents, Cora Etta, Carl Homer Tapp, Jessie Cooper and Richard Thompson; and his brother-in-law Tommy Richey.
He is survived by: his son Billy "Trey" Tapp III; his sister Vicki Tapp; his grandchildren, Megan Wines (Tyler), Brodijo Tapp and Breyden Tapp; and his great grandchildren, Kasen, Paislee, Brantley and Regan. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Chapel (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
