He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Morris and Callie Merle Morris; his siblings, Gilbert Morris and Rosa Jean Wilson; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Morris; his children, Carole Boyle (Bryan Boyle), Scott Morris (Jeanine Boulay), Cory Morris and Randy Ross (Carrie Ross); his grandsons, Jacob Johnson, Rex Ross (Rebekah Ross), Ryder Ross, Emory Ross, Andrew Boyle, Wesley Morris and Beau Morris; his siblings, Robert Morris (Sylvia), Judy Foller (Jimmy), Donna Marshall (Bob) and David Morris (Karla); his siblings-in-law, Delora Hutchins and Tom Smith; and his friends, Brenda Follis and Joe Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (202 Butternut St, Abilene, TX 79602).
Memorials may be given to First Methodist Church, Abilene.
