He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Kelly, Sr.; his stepsister Sharon Bennett; his brother-in-law Marshall Owens; and his cousin Raymond McDonald. He is survived by: his mother Gwenetta Maxine Tillis (Otis); his wife Deborah Nelson; his son Ryan (Hannah); his granddaughters, Aria Kelly and Aliya Kelly; his siblings, Maurice Kelly, Jr. (Laurie), Kaleb Kelly and Angela Owens; his stepsister Denise Cammon (Jethro); and his aunt Pearlie Miles. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Land Funeral Home (6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park (300 E Phillips St, Richardson, TX 75081). A committal service will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Laurel Land Memorial Park (6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232).
