He is survived by: his brother Dean O. "Don" Nichols, Jr.; his nieces, Lisa Nichols Lowrance (Michael) and Lori Nichols Thomason (Andy); his great-niece Sophia Rose Morros; and his great-nephew Adam Thomason.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Southside Baptist Church (311 W Wilbarger St, Bowie, TX 76230).
