With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marinthe Papathanasiou of New London, Connecticut, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Miltiades Papayanni and Theodora Papadopoulos Papayanni. She is survived by : her spouse Miltiades'Milton'Papathanasiou; her children, Alexandros Papathanasiou (Kristina) of Clinton, Stavros Papathanasiou of New London and Theodora Servidio (Nate) of Boynton Beach, FL; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Sophia, Stavros, Demetrios, Aris, Anastasia and Deme.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Sophia Hellenic Orthodox Church (200 Hempstead St, New London, CT 06320).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or St. Sophia Church.
