We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2024 we had to say goodbye to John Sirick of Newington, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Shevick and Anna Shevick (Tynek); and his siblings, Michael Shevick, Lester Sirick, Lovey Shevick, Mary DiPinto and Katherine Sandquist.
He is survived by : his wife Cynthia (Zemantic); his daughters, Melissa Josefiak (Lucian) of Westbrook and Sarah Bailly (John) of Newington; and his grandchildren, Cora Josefiak, Rebekah, Rachael and Jacob Bailly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and several dear cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 4th 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Friday, January 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Friday, January 5th 2024 at the St. Mary Ukrainian Cemetery (55 Winter St, New Britain, CT 06051).
