He is survived by : his children, Robert R. Layman and Nancy E. Layman; his daughter-in-law MaryEllen Kingston; his grandchildren, Matthew Layman, Melissa Tobias, Stefanie Layman and Timothy Layman; his close friend Janet Chandler; and his wife Ellen Waterman Layman. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home (34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, CT 06109).
In honor of Robert's memory, contributions may be made to the Ellington Volunteer Ambulance, a heartfelt tribute to his compassionate spirit and dedication to helping others.
