He was predeceased by : his parents, Carlton H and Mary J Willis (Chesebro) of Mystic, CT.; his grandson Jeffrey C. Willis; and his siblings, Charles Willis (Christine), Herbert Willis (Winnie), Hoyt Willis (Joan), Hershall Willis (Liz), Carl Willis (Vivian), Lucille Watson (Floyd), Iola Main (David) and Mary Balestracci (Ernie).
He is survived by : his wife Dolly Willis (Dolores); his children, Curtis Willis (Wendy Harris) of Monson, MA, Teresa Baruffa (Robert) of Custer, SD, Nicholas Willis (Wendy Fox) of Plainfield, CT and Jennifer Papitto (John) of Westerly, RI.; and his grandchildren, Dellaney, Amy, Andrew, Jessica, Joseph and Nicholas Willis. He is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dinoto Funeral Home (17 Pearl St, Groton, CT 06355). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
